Srećko Joksimović and I just organized our first tutorial “Topic Modeling for Learning Analytics researchers”. Although we planned for 27 participants, it was very popular and eventually 40 people participated for the tutorial.

I am very pleased with the whole experience, the hard preparation really payed off and we received a lot of positive feedback and made several important connections with people who are also interested in using topic modeling techniques in learning analytics research.
